The European Parliament Elections are now done and dusted. Congratulations to those Child Rights Champions who have been elected! More than a hundred Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) have committed to breaking cycles of inequality, investing in children and listening to children’s voices. 1 in 7 of the new Parliament is now a Child Rights Champion!

Now the real work starts.

The next step for MEPs is to sign up to re-instate a strong and active intergroup inside the European Parliament that stands up for children. The Child Rights Intergroup aims to place child rights at the heart of the European Parliament’s work.

We look forward to welcoming past and present Child Rights Champions to the next European Parliament. Together, we can establish a new agenda for children.
